More chant from medieval Norway online: this time it's not just on the page. It's being sung, in the ruins of Hamar Cathedral, by two young Cathedral guides, who also incorporate folk songs and readings from Norwegian literature in their presentation of this historic building. What a marvellous way to experience what's left of the Domkirkeodden! The lady sings the Marian antiphon Ave regina celorum at 2min 45s (to a tone I've never heard before), and the gentleman sings Lux illuxit (the Sequence in honour of St Olav), starting at around 5min 20s.
(And yes, I would like a gold star for identifying the latter piece!)
